In the first quarter of 2025, the theme park app landscape on Android in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Global Village maintained a consistent download pattern, with numbers fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 3.4K in early January and peaked at 2.3K by the end of March. Active users experienced a decline from 14.3K at the start of the quarter to 6.8K, before recovering to 6.8K at the end.
Hong Kong Disneyland saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting with 30 in the first week and reaching 50 by the end of March. Active users also rose steadily, moving from 66 to 94 over the quarter.
The Tokyo Disney Resort App showed an interesting trend with revenue peaking at $41 in January before a gradual decrease. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 52. Active users followed a similar upward trend, ending the quarter at 175.
Universal Studios Japan had a stable download pattern with a noticeable increase in March, peaking at 64. Active users also increased, starting from 85 and ending at 188.
Lastly, Disneyland® Paris experienced a modest rise in downloads, from 18 at the start to 65 by the end of March. Active users saw a significant increase from 49 to 83 over the quarter.
